Golden oyster mushroom forms 3-5 cm fruiting bodies, light yellow to golden in color and sweet taste. Consumption of the Golden Oyster mushroom lowers blood sugar and cholesterol and enhances disease resistance.

Growing: The mushroom is best grown in summer on healthy and fresh trunks of deciduous trees, such as birch or poplar, with a diameter of 8-15 cm. Fruiting bodies appear from 2 months to 6 months.

Once the inoculum dowels are placed in the holes made with the drill, the wood with the inoculum or the inoculated stumps should be sprinkled with water and wrapped in foil. The fruiting bodies of the fungus appear after about 2 to 6 months, depending on how thick the stump is, which is inoculated with the fungus. The thicker this stump, the slower the emergence of mushrooms.
