Geosem Select is the first private company in Bulgaria, focused on vegetable breeding and seed production, founded in 1990 by prof. Hristo Georgiev who was one of the most famous tomato breeders with over 60 years of experience in the field. Geosemselect remains family-owned and has continued to develop the work of our founder by investing in research and development of new hybrid vegetable varieties.

Geosem Select own's more than 20 hybrid tomato varieties which they maintain and reproduce. The varieties are well known in some countries in the Balkans and the UK. The aim of all of their breeding programs has been to have a differentiated portfolio of varieties with an excellent, traditional taste and high yield potential. Besides tomatoes, they have added to their products also cucumbers, gherkins, melons, and peppers.
